My name is Paladin/Dionysus/Lestat/Cerebus/Cooka, also known (in the real world, eek!) as Michael Cooke. I'm a 18 year old soon to be college student from Everett, Massachusetts.

I have been playing RPGs since the summer of 91, since I saw an ad in the back of a TMNT comic for the TMNT RPG. That led to Heroes Unlimited, which gave way to Ninjas and Superspies, which brought me to the Palladium Fantasy RPG, which took me to Rifts (yay!), which later brought me to Beyond the Supernatural, and finally to Nightbane, which is almost as good as Rifts. I never liked Robotech or Macross. I do own every Rifts book, and every PFRPG, TMNT, HU, N&SS, BTS , and Nightbane book. That collection has cost alot of money.

In real life I'm pretty lonely. With the exceptions of a few freinds, I have little contact with people on the whole. Falling in love too early (a love that has thankfully ended, but not without a new one begining) has left me cynical and jaded. Through an odd set of circumstances, it also led me to be good. I used to be an asshole. Yep, I'll admit it. But, I repented. I've always liked knights, and hence I decided to try to be like one. I try to follow the Codes of Chivalry, as closely as possible, in this modern world. I'm always the gentleman. Thus my name: Paladin.

I am a hedonist and I love pleasure. All the pleasures of the flesh. Good food. Good drink. Good liquour. The touch of a female. But don't take it the wrong way. I am not sex obsessed. I am a lover, and I beleive in the feast of friends. Love is more important to me than all else. The love shared between lovers, and the love between friends. My friends and my love is what my life is about. But I also have my interests.

I'm a student of history, and I love classic literature. I like some modern works too. Fred Saberhagen is my favorite author and influences alot of my work. Douglas Adams is also a favorite. I like Bram Stoker's works and I enjoy Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, and recently I have been getting into the works of H.P. Lovecraft. The Iliad and the Oddyssey are some of my favorites, too. I listen to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Bush, the Doors, and the Beatles. I also like classical music. I especially like Greek, Roman, and Medeival history, and I base alot of my creations on these time periods. I have always been interested in the supernatural, aliens, psychic abilities, ghosts, magic, etc. The X-Files is my favorite show, followed by Mystery Science Theater 3000. That's about everything.
